When it comes to balancing your mind, body and energy - Ayurveda uses Ahar (diet) and nutrition as medicine. Specialty herbs and spices can be added daily to help with specific conditions and act as balancers to our mood and overall energy levels. Pitta season (aka Summer); heightens the fire element within. Therefore, we need to balance with opposite and cooling foods that can help calm the mind, and soothe digestion without over stimulating our Agni. Here are 5 herbs that can helps and how to use them:
