Hi, Welcome!

I am Mel, a passionate 500HR RYT with a specialty in Ayurveda, NLP Certified Love Coach and Breathwork facilitator. Although I began my personal yoga journey almost 7 years ago, I had always made movement a priority; growing up in sports like gymnastics, swimming and competitive cheerleading. At 16, I began coach in training for competitive jr. gymnasts, which lead me to become certified in muscle conditioning. As life does…and I got older; I disconnected from the sport (and my body)…which lead me to… burn out. I didn’t have the energy for the gym but I needed to move. Then, as they say…”yoga found me.

Although I had been to Moksha and Bikram hot studios before (high pitta here!), it was the traditional teachings that began to heal me from anxiety, stress and irritability. Yoga brought me back to my body and Ayurveda brought me back to harmony with my true nature. As we live in a society of overstimulation of the mind; we need to remember to honour our multidimensional selves (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual). The foundations of Yoga, and Ayurveda invite us to feel, see, listen, taste and speak our most inner knowing’s of the seasons we’re currently experiencing. While navigating our modern world, we can implement additional practices and rituals (like taking a class through a screen!); and find a dance in our journey.

I offer the teachings to other women like me who want to find harmony and balance in their every day lives. My movement classes are designed intentionally in season and cycle you are in. From Ayurvedic Yoga classes to modern fusion flows; my range is designed for you in mind.

I believe in slow and sacred mornings, ancient rituals, balanced nutrition, strong devotion to self care and nurturing community.
